Virtually hike along with some of the YellowstonePark.com team on an awesome trail in Wyoming's Wind River Range. The trailhead to the Cirque of Towers via Jackass Pass is at the Big Sandy Opening. Hikers enjoy a 6-mile flat hike to Big Sandy Lake before ascending the steep, rocky, exposed Jackass Pass to the Cirque of the Towers. Recently, YellowstonePark.com's Shelli Johnson went on her first fly-fishing adventure. Guided by Tim Wade, owner of North Fork Anglers in Cody, Wyoming, Johnson was able to catch the two biggest fish she's ever caught ? after only 2 hours of fly-fishing! U.S. Senator Craig Thomas, of Wyoming, recently stopped by the Yellowstone Journal Corporation and YellowstonePark.com offices in Lander, Wyoming, to talk with Shelli Johnson about our national parks. On July 22nd and 23rd, 2006, the McMurry Foundation held a world-class airshow event, bringing some of the best aerial entertainment in the world to Casper, Wyoming. On July 14, 2006, YellowstonePark.com's Ryan Johnson discovered one of the best ways to see Yellowstone country ? by hot air balloon ? during the 26th annual Riverton, Wyoming Rendezvous. Every year, Riverton hosts a Balloon Rally that attracts dozens of balloon operators from all over the country.
