Sinks Canyon State Park, a beautiful state park located 6 miles SW of Lander, Wyoming, is named for a sink hole, the "Sinks", which is a limestone cavern that the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River rushes into and disappears before resurfacing a 1/4-mile down the road at the "Rise." The Sinks is a geologic wonder and a bit of a mystery. This podcast is on-location coverage of the recent "dye test" performed by Geology professors and students from throughout the U.S. The dye test is a test where geologists pour some colored dye into the Sinks and then aims to determine if it resurfaces with the
