On July 14, 2006, YellowstonePark.com's Ryan Johnson discovered one of the best ways to see Yellowstone country ? by hot air balloon ? during the 26th annual Riverton, Wyoming Rendezvous. Every year, Riverton hosts a Balloon Rally that attracts dozens of balloon operators from all over the country. I had the opportunity to take my first balloon ride and see the beautiful landscape of Wind River Country from 600 feet up! This is truly a spectacle from the ground as well.
